Different log in and user names?
 
Is there a mod to make the registration/log in names separate from the forum user names? I was on one board some time ago that did that, when you registered it asked what you wanted your log in name to be and what you wanted your user name to be. You logged in using your log in name and password and when you got logged in you would post under your user name.

I would love to see a mod like this, we are having issues with people running software trying to crack passwords by using staff and member lists and it clogs up the password strike system.

I am using VB Version 4.1.4

I'm in a similar situation but I can't seem to find a mod that can allow "community/real names" to take the place of log in names on the forum board. I know forum boards like SMF already has this.
