Hello. This seemed like the right forum to ask about this, but I'm sorry if it isn't.

My website is currently running vbulletin 3.6.7, and we've been wanting to upgrade to 3.8 for awhile now. I just have two questions about this.

- Is it true that if we buy the vbulletin 4.0 license, we will be able to go to 3.8 instead?
- If we do that, will we be able to upgrade to 4.0 when we want to without buying another license?

Yes, a vB4 license will allow you to download and install 3.8.7 if you prefer that version over a 4.x version.

And yes, later on, you may choose to upgrade the site to vb4 using the same license (no additional payment needed).
