Second installation on the same server
 
I'm running a live forum at www.mydomain.com but I want to install a fresh new second copy of my vBulletin at www.mydomain.com/test. The path is going to be .htaccess password protected so isn't going to be public. Can I install this second copy of vBulletin on the same server? Take in account that we're talking about a fresh new installation not a clone of my current live forum.

That's no problem, just create a new database for it and make sure you use the new database name in the config.php ($config['Database']['dbname']).
