I know its designed for a widget but i installed your twitter mod fine as a forum block and just tried this

BUT it says "There was an error fetching the like box for the specified page."

Any chance you know how to fix this ?

many thanks

It's a problem with the code. Try this one:

Code:

<!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: vbcms_widget_facebooktwitter -->
<iframe scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:300px; height:395px;" src="//www.facebook.com/plugins/likebox.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com/PUT HERE YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE NAME HERE&amp;width=300&amp;height=395&amp;colorscheme=light&amp;show_faces=false&amp;border_color=%233378B0&amp;stream=true&amp;header=false"></iframe>
<!-- END TEMPLATE: vbcms_widget_facebooktwitter -->

There was an error fetching the like box for the specified page.

I have a question for you, can the widget color be customized? background to be invisible?

Could not retrieve the specified page. Please verify correct href was passed in.

I have a dark skin forum and the text is to dark. Is there away to change the font color, and if so how?

tbworld 10-13-2013 08:38 PM

Your questions is unclear to the text you are referring to. The text within the widget (the facebook content) or text on the widget container? A picture or a link to your site would be helpful.

General Stylevar Information - May or may not be helpful to your question.
The correct and easiest way to change the colors is via vbulletin's stylevars. I have listed some reference links below that should get you started.

Sorry...I am talking about the facebook text in the widget. It looks ok on a light skin website, but hard to read on a dark one.
