Login Authentication
 

Hello ,

I am currently using vBulletin 4.x. I wanted to know if there is a way to auto login (with out user actually type in login details) user into the forums from one of our main sites.

The scenario is, the users logs into our system (our system has its own authetication). The user should now be able to go into the forums directly from the main site by simply clicking a link. Could any one please share or let me know how to do this.

I never need to login to any forums once I login the first time saves the cookies is this what u mean

We have our own system (which is not a forum and not related to vBulletin DB). So after user logs into our system, there will be a link to the vBulletin forums (we use email address to authenticate our system and there is a one to one relation to vBulletin DB with the email address). So, when the user clicks on that link, I should be able to redirect the user to forum with out actually user entering the login details again.
