Disabling certain forums from new posts

Hey guys is there a way where you can have certain boards not show up in the latest posts? Ive done it before but for some reason I can't figure it out anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

I'm not sure exactly where you mean, but if it's a link to search.php then you should be able to add "&exclude=1,2,3" to the url to exclude forums 1, 2, and 3.
