Im looking to find a Hack I think that was made by the guy's over at sitepoint" It's a alphabetical glossary list handler.

This hasn't been released because it is not complete yet.

I just seen it in here yesterday:( With a link to it on your site" Are we talking about the same thing? What I seen had just the alphabet ABCD where you click and it brings you to the list starting with that letter one full page of text.

Is so yes, it is not finished yet. There is no admin side of the script at this time.

Do to maintenance reasons, I am rewriting all the SitePoint code. As I do get it done and documented I will start to release "Hack Packs" that provide various functionality. Some will do the same as what is done by hacks in the release forum but I will most likely rewrite most of the code in hopes to make it more efficient and usable.

Yep that's the one" :( .. Sounds like it's going to be some tome before it's out? I need a way to handle a large list or banks, Any ideas???

I wrote a really simple glossary hack for vBulletin, viewable here:

It borrows a tiny bit of vB code, and makes use of some custom templates. I even made it it's own little admin area for adding/editing/deleting, all nice and pretty like the other areas. :D

So release it. What are you waiting for ya big tease? :D

Well, I've got a few things on my mind:

1. Wayne obviously got caught up with other stuff, but I don't want to side-step him here. I think that'd be rude...I remember asking him about it awhile ago (because I was thinking of having a go at it), but I don't think he ever responsed.
   
2. I'd need to write instructions and an installation script of some sort. Which is a bummer. :)
   
3. I doubt there's much use for it. It's relatively small and simple.

If you want to release it go for it. I most likely will not be releasing any hacks that I create for the foreseeable future due to the fact that everyone demands support for them and I don't have time to provide that.

Any thing I release will be on a case by case basis and most likely contracted and invoiced work. While this may seem selfish and greedy, it is the only way I can support my customers properly.
