Remove all but first image from quotes in a reply
 
All,

Looking for a modification that will automatically strip embedded images from quoted replies, however will keep the first couple of quoted images visible.

What I have right now is a template hack that strips all images from being displayed, and instead returns only the URL links for those images. This works fine, however users that quote several pictures (15+ images) wish to see at least the first photo or two in the quoted reply.

I know this is the unpaid section, but I'll donate to a beer fund for whoever assists. :)

I'm just horrible with conditional statements, which I feel is what this would be.
