Paid subscription question...
 

Hello all, I tried looking for this, but I didn't really come up with anything... I know there's extension to allow guest viewing for threads, with limitations... And I know there's time frame options / limitations for paid users... But was wondering, is there any way to set it up to allow a certain paid subscription... to only allow, for example, X to XX thread views only?

Example; John joins with the 2.00 paid membership for VIP section, but instead of having access to it ALL.. he's only limited to TWO or so threads... As like a teaser / taste of what's inside the VIP forum? Maybe either by number of threads to view, or a time limit of like 2 hours allowed inside VIP. Because anyone can join for 2.00 memberships, giving them 2 days to suck the VIP dry of quality content. I guess it's possible to set it up for only 2 hours VIP access for 2.00 membership? But I'd rather probably go the route of having thread view limits instead. Like.. "if you paid for 2.00 membership, you're only allowed 2 to 5 threads viewed for teaser" Thanks!

You could count the number of unique threads he visits in X forum category and after he exceeds your threshold you could then say, "Nope! Buy It!". That's how I'd do it.
