Merging a MyBB forum with a vBulletin one

Hello,

I have two forums that I'd like to merge together. A vBulletin one and a MyBB one. The MyBB one is fairly small while the vBulletin one is quite large. What I want to do is merge the two forums together, keeping all the users and everything intact. As well as this, I want the vBulletin forum to be merged to the same location as the MyBB one.

So after the merge, the MyBB forum would become vBulletin.

Sounds confusing I know but can anyone point me in the right direction?

First convert your MyBB forum to vb and then merge both vb forums with the Impex. The vb forums should be the same version btw.

And the import from MyBB to vBulletin will allow me to keep everything? Thanks for the help.

No, not everything will be converted over. Some things like passwords, usergroups, permissions, attachments and possibly pm's will not be converted. But the most important stuff like posts, threads, forums and users will be converted over fine.

Ah I see. Well in my case, that's not much of a problem. Thank you for your help borbole!
