How to add wordpress as cms with vb 4.2

I would want my website to open to the cms, and have my vB forum as an option.

My vB is already in the main directory, should I just create a folder for wordpress. If so, how do I manage for my website to open to the wordpress default page.

I can do a new install, and create a folder for the vB forum.

Ideally, I would like to make things efficient for my server, with respect given to seo.
