How to remove number of views from blogs

I want to remove the number of views from the blogs. This appears on the line where the bloggers name and date is.
How do I do this?
Here is an example --

I want to remove the area that says (xx Views)

And, what about faking a much larger number of views for one particular blog? Is there a way to do that?
