I need help changing something in style and templates...HELP!
 

Is there any way to change the color of the drop down arrow at the top where you see notifications? The screen shot below points a red arrow at what I want to change. Is this possible? If so, where do I change this at? I can't seem to find it in Styles and Templates but I am probably missing it.

Lynne is correct. I misread the question.

It's an image - /images/misc/arrow.png . So, if you want it a different color, you need to actually modify it using whatever photo/paint application you like to use.

Hi Lynne! One more question. Since I have multiple skins and I want the arrow to match each skin, where would I put the image in each style? Is it an edit template?

Most people have separate image directories for each style so you would change the arrow in that specific image directory for the style.

While you are viewing you site in any style, right click on the arrow, select "Properties"
You will then see the image URL.
For example, the quick links drop down above has the same arrow as the one you want to change in your styles.

That also tells you the that arrow image here (menu_open.gif) is located in /forum/images/misc/ folder. You will need to upload via FTP the new arrow image to the /forum/images/misc/ if you do not have a folder named forum, upload the new arrow to the images/misc/ folder.

The arrow must be the same name as the one you are using now.

Repeat these steps in every style you want to change the arrow in.
Custom styles will have thier own folder name, so keep that in mind when you right click, properties on the arrow images you are wanting to change. Follow the path to the arrow image on each style
