Split Thread in vbulletin 4

I gather from vbulletin.com that a thread can no longer be split like we use to in V3. Because I am having a problem with the search here where "split thread in vbulletin v4" doesn't meet the minimum 3 word criteria for a search I have had to post a new thrtead assuming there is one somewhere. I have done a google search and vbulletin.com search and it doesn't come up except in on instance whcih I have looked up and replied to but who knows if they can give an answer promptly.

Is there a mod for this?
