ForumCon is coming up on June 12, 2012

Did you know that there is a one day conference exclusively for forum owners?

ForumCon, a 1-day forum and communities conference taking place June 12 in San Francisco, CA, is dedicated exclusively to managing, growing, and monetizing online communities. Sessions will touch on SEO for forums, monetization options, how to leverage new social media tools, and much more. A current ForumCon 2012 agenda can be found here.

As one of this year's event sponsors, we have discount codes for registration. Feel free to ping me if you need a discount code for registration: chad @ enthusify.com

If you have questions about the one day conference, feel free to reach out. I am happy to answer any questions you have about whether the conference is worth the trip.

Hope to see you in San Francisco!

Where is the after-party?

Enthusify 05-22-2012 05:22 PM

The after party will be at the lounge at Hotel Kabuki (so just a short walk across the hotel for attendees) and will immediately follow the conference. Drinks will be complimentary!

You probably aren't missing much. Forums are slooooooooowly going the way of the dinosaur a conference for forum owners is probably nothing more than a money grab by some marketers who are there to sell you stuff.

It's a 1 day event, that should tell you all you need to know. What are you going to learn in that one day you either don't already know, or can't find out without google?

It's hardly a secret that the conference is mainly interesting for those marketing/monetizing forums, but I really don't think forums are going to die.
This was the 3rd ForumCon (I've been at the 1st and this one), and every time the amount of attendees & speakers increased.

It's not a real "Con" until it is held in Vegas.

I have to disagree. I've been to all three that they've had and there's always something valuable, especially from the networking.

Can anyone let us know how it was? What presentation you liked best? I was at BlogWorld in NYC and couldn't afford flying over the country to ForumCon, so would appreciate some insight from other forum admins who went to FC.
