includes/config.php exists, but is not in the 3.6+ format.
<font color="Red">"Configuration: includes/config.php exists, but is not in the 3.6+ format. Please convert your
config file via the new config.php.new."</font> Is the error message I get. I am running the latest 4.xx. To strengthen the password I downloaded the config.php file and changed the db password using "WORDPAD". Changed the db password on the server mysql . When I go to the site with I.E. I get the error message. Replaced the original config.php file and everything works. I did use the "config.php.new" at the last update/installation. Can anyone suggest something?, Thanks. |
The problem is most likely wordpad. Try using notepad instead, or a programming editor (like for instance notepad++).

mmmm..?? If I am not wrong I beleive the upload install instruction says to use WORDPAD and not NOTEPAD, I'll look into it more. Thanks
