Attachments?
 

Hello,

I was wondering whether it was possible for that attachments to do something similar to this:
When a user uploads a file, instead of uploading it to the server or database it uploads it to a remote server (or even a file host), without the user knowing. When downloading the file, it would get the file from the file host or remote server. If it was the file host, we would have a premium account added so that there is no wait time to download the file.

I'm sure this is possible and due to security reasons I do not wish to use the default attachments system.

Any input will be great.
