Selling vbulletin products?

Hi

Here I am asking a strange question. I have designed two products for vBulletin 4. I wonder if it is "moral" to make money by selling them instead of allowing people to download them for free in vb.org just like so many better products here. I am asking this because I didn't see anybody selling "relatively simple" vBulletin products.

I have spent good time in programming and testing. But surely the products authors here spending more time in developing their products.

I need your advice

:o

There is nothing wrong with selling your mods. It is your work and time and you are entitled to do as you please. Give them away for free or charge for them.

That said, according to the rules here it is not allowed to put up a paid mod only here. You can submit a lite version of the mod and provide the link to the fuller version that is on sale.

There's are some Coders released some mods Free or Premium so...

@borebole

thanks for the information. I think I have to create a "lite" version. This surely will resolve the "moral issue" for me . Also I will be able to support my product from within vb.org

You can only support lite versions here. You can not provide support for paid versions of mods here. That will have to be done somewhere else.
