Blog Sidebar Block

I hope someone can help me out here...

I have been looking and looking for a solution but i cannot find a solution. I have successfully added a custom HTML block to our sidebar Forum, pretty easy. But, i also need to add it to the BLOG. I can't imagine that i am the only person who has wanted to do this!

Has nobody figured this out??

Can anyone please tell me how I can accomplish this?
