Top Posters&Popular Users Stats Box Forum Index (lite)

1 Attachment(s)
This mod will show your top posters and most popular users at your forum index. You can enable and disable the mod from your Acp->Settings->Options->Active Popular Stats. The lite version will display only 5 users per setting.

A more expanded version can be purchased at my forum here:

http://www.forumservices.eu/vb/showt...ox&p=16#post16

In this version, the mod will show all users who posted at your forum on daily, weekly and monthly basis in the forum index starting from the user who posted the most along with the post count that that user has posted depending on the criteria, i.e. per day, per week and per month. It will also show the overall top posters and your most popular users. Popularity is based on the number of reputation points that they have received.

Installation. Install the mod.xml file through the Plugins & Products Section at your Admin Panel.

To configure the mod go to Settings->Options->Active Popular Stats. There you can enable/disable the mod, enter the title for the block, choose the position where you would like to display the Most Active&Popular Users Stats Box.

Enter here the number of your top active and popular users that you want to appear at the forum index. By default it will show 5. You can increase, decrease it to your likings.

And if the user is a member of a certain group that you do not want to include in the Stats Box, you can exclude that group/s.

You can also see a demo of it at my forum.

Thank you for reading this thread :)

That can be changed easily. All you have to do is change a language phrase.

Cool mod, would love this if it has the ability to be displayed on sidebar.

After installation is there any link in footer?
Sidebar/CMS widget would be nice option cause like this its taking too much space
Option to choose what to show, top posters, popular users...

No, there is no link in the footer for this. About adding an option to display in the sidebar that would be best done as a new hook.

It is not a resource hog if that is what you mean.

I think it would be best if that was done as a new mod. I will keep this in mind for later on. Thanks for the suggestion.

Looks nice - would install if available as a CMS-widget.

I do not use the CMS and I am not familiar with its structure.

It would be great if this could work on a per-forum basis.. Ie when you go into a specific forum, it shows the top posters of that specific forum, etc...
