Embedding youtube video in Vbulltin
 
I need to create a BBCODE to embed youtube video (only) in my forum (version 3.8) . Can anyone tell me how to do it???

There are better ways to embed video in vBulletin 3.8 than bbcode- search for the mod "AME" or "Automatic Media Embedder" Version 2.5.

That said if you really want a YouTube BBCode-

Go to Admin CP -> Add A New BB Code

title: YouTube
name: youtube
Replacement Text:
Code:
<iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/{param}" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Use Option: No
Example, Description = [whatever you want]

All Disable Options = Yes

Then you would use it like this-

to embed this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLp9Co66SKQ

Put: [youtube]hLp9Co66SKQ[/youtube] in your posts.


You can edit the width and height if the replacement text to whatever you want.
