Different Background Image for Each Forum Thread, and for Each Section?

How can I put a different image in the background (just one big image) for each of the different forum threads I have? I also want to be able to do this for each of the sections (Main Page, Blogs, etc). Is that possible with vbulletin 4.1.11?

Thanks!

Can someone direct me?

So you want a background image on the entire showthread page, but a different image for each thread?

A different background image for each showthread page, not for each individual thread. Each showthread page will be like a section. Just like a nice high quality translucent photo in the background behind all the posts.

So, *not* for each individual thread? Sorry, I still don't understand. I guess i'm confused by where you say "for each of the different forum threads", Do you mean each different forum?

I think what is wanted here is to show a Different background image on the Sections on the Forum,So from Forum home Clicking a Forum called Football would have a Football background and One called Fifa would be a Fifa background etc

RSNF 04-25-2012 11:15 AM

I think what he means is say in the forum you have sub forum a b and c each of those sub forums has their own background?

I think the OP needs to be waaaaay more specific and give links and/or images as examples.

Both Rammieone and RSNF are absolutely correct. That is exactly what I am looking for!

Then try writing the CSS in the additional.css template and put conditions around it based on the forumid.
