registration improved security
 
Hi there im looking for vb mods to improve registration security to stop random bots signign up t the forums and postign random links

looking for where the user has to select pictures and one where the user has to calculate a sum or type a word that it displays looking for all 3 tbh feel free to post any links to direct me to any available mods just been looking ins earch for a while and unable to locate any.

really theres not much helpful ways but what i did was made a question and made it say how to do you spell racecar backwards and so far no bots has joined my site and legit members.

ok thanks bones and yeah its to stop thsoe random spam bots that posts links of drugs etc

also how do you edit the registration page so i can put a question and answer int here too just cant find where to edit for soem reason lol been too long since i last had vbulletin tbh

You don't usually edit the page-

In Admin CP there is "Human Verification Manager" Under the "Settings" side-menu.

You enable "Question and Answer" and setup one or more questions (and answers) and it will automatically show.

In the days before Human Verification was standard some admins would go to "Add New User Profile Field" (also in Admin CP) and setup a custom field that is required on registration and set it up so that a user had to answer the question in a way that matches a regular expression to get registered- kind of a "poor mans" human verify.
