Custom Avatars stopped working

I installed a mod for mobile users but the original poster hasn't gotten back to me.

Since installing, custom avatars for Super Moderators and above will not show up. It just says: "Username's Avatar" but no picture. I uninstalled the mod and they still are not working.

It will let us upload default avatars but not custom.

I have rebuilt the custom avatars under maintenance but I have no idea what else to do.

I added a new default style and they are still not working there either.

Hmmm, strange. Do you store avatars in the database or filesystem?

Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php

PHP Code:

define('DISABLE_HOOKS'true);

I have no clue where they would be stored.

I just disabled plugins and same thing.

Check Attachments > Attachment Storage Type and it should tell you where they are stored.

Attachments are currently being stored in the database

Whoops, I meant the Avatars > User Picture Storage Type. But, you said it is the custom ones that aren't working? Have you thought of going back to a backup database from before installing the mod? And, when you uninstalled it, did you go through the installation instructions backwards?

With your wonderful help, I went to the avatars > Move Items from File System into Database, hit go and now they are working.

Don't know why that was weird like that but thank you Lynne. I hope everyone at vbulletin knows what an asset they have with you! :)
