Profile fields not showing up
 
Hello al,

I am facing a problem that profile fields are not showing up in my forum as i have maded some custom profile fields but due to malware attack i have restored my old back up and then now its not showing me profile fields i have checked the profile fields there were only 2 the rest default 2 was not there i have created them again and there field id is 31 and 32 respectively. and when i saved that its still not showing up any help how to resolve that?

Showing up where? Do you have the correct field ids showing in the template where you added them?

If you are comfortable playing with the database, you may want to put those back to what the default fieldid is supposed to be. Otherwise, you will need to manually add them wherever you want them.

You mean the custom profile fields you made are not there now, only the default ones?
You said you installed a backup of your site... seems new profile fields were made after the backup date. You will need to make them again.

You will also need to edit whatever template you are showing new fields in.

but which file should i have to edit
can you plese tell that and when i puth the backup back itmoved the dfault ones also just two remained and rest two i maid again but there field id is 31 and 32

Then you have no templates to edit. If you made the new fields, check to make sure you selected for them to show in the About me section.
