Is there a modification similar to SMF's replies to a users thread function?
 
Is there a modification similar to SMF's replies to a users thread function?

My users want a simple frontpage hint to tell them there are replies to a thread they posted in or threads they started.

Is there a way to do this besides the subscription feature?

That pretty well describes looking at your control-panel only subscriptions. What do these "hints" look like? Do you have a screen shot?
