jQt Sliding Log-In & Register

1 Attachment(s)
DESCRIPTION:
This mod will add a tabbed drop-down slider for both 'Log-In' and 'Register' dialogues based on the jQuery Tools Library.

UPGRADE:
This release only addresses a couple of compatibility issues. It will now play more friendly with other jQuery scripts.

The registration Human Verification component supports the 'Image Verification', 'Question & Answer' and the 'reCAPTCHA' modules, but NOT third party ones.
Please remember that if you have more than one mod that uses jQuery, they could conflict with each other.

You can see a demo HERE
(You need to select the 'Grey' theme from the drop-down 'Choose your theme..')

The next upgrade will include alternative styles amongst other things.

To Upgrade from Beta 1:
All you need to do is re-import the product file, allowing overwrite.

Installation:
Upload the content of the 'Upload' folder to your forum root, retaining directory structure.
If you already have TMS installed, the installation is a breeze, simply import the product file 'product-jqt_sliding_login.xml' in your AdminCP/Plugins & Products/Manage Products/

If you do not have TMS then in addition to importing the product file you will need to carry out the template edits found in the 'Template Edits.html' document. There aren't too many.

Configure the mod in AdminCP/Settings/Options/jQt Sliding Login

All updates/future releases and support are now only available at jqt-suite.co.uk

Looks pretty neat. What if Image Verification is disabled on the forums though. How will it look then? I also wonder if the template changes you have added, can get this one included as well:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=266883

Showing up a steam button, just in the left of the facebook one, or completely to the right if facebook has been disabled.

It should work well on any 4.1.x

Shouldn't be a problem, though I'm gonna enjoy the rest of Easter Monday in peace ad tranquility :D
Will look at this later.

Great mod, but I am not sure if I can get this to work with a custom template like mine.
As always, quality mod from you :)

Nice work ! Does it have additional options included such as referrer or receive emails etc.

I got this to work on all five of my custom mods, though I must admit to having to hard code the header template edits.

Not yet I'm afraid. This is the first beta, there's an enormous amount still for me to do.

EDIT: **gothic being slapped around the head with a chunk of 4 x 2 by irate missus shouting "put that @%$&&& computer down** :(

Is there an option to have the buttons on the right, more or less where the default login is?

In this version the only way to manage that is from the AdminCP/settings/jqt slider and change the 'Left Margin' (or whatever I named it :o ) from 200 to a figure that suits your needs. I'd suggest playing with anything around maybe 800'ish. This figure is the margin, in pixels, from the left.
