Nexia's Notices Pack

A pack of new notices for the activities inside your site.

for version 1.0.0, here are the new criterias:

1- User reply to a closed thread (for admins and moderators) -- as they have permissions to reply to closed threads
1a - ability to disable the Quick Reply form on thread display when thread is closed

2- User reply to a thread that did not have any answer for XXX days
2a- show notice on showthread page
2b- show notice on new reply page

3- User did not fill Profile Field XXX

version 1.0.1 was released with two new criterias... these 2 criterias have hints in the core file that let us think vB will contain them in a future version, but as we hate to wait, i created them right away...

4- User filled Profile Field XXX with value YYY

5- User filled Profile Field XXX with value containing YYY *(this one is great to avoid stupid words etc)

# HOW TO:

go to:

AdminCP >> Plugins & Products >> Manage Products >> [Add/Import Product]

Import the file you find in the IMPORT_THIS folder of this release.

# NOW:

when you want to edit or create a new notice, you will have some new criterias at the bottom of the "Display this notice if..." block.

that's all!

Things i plan to add to this release:

1- more criterias
2- ability to choose notice's style/colors etc
3- add some {variables} to the Notice HTML so we have more flexibility on the message

as you can see in the first screenshot, there is already 3 new criterias added to the notices choices. i'm planning to add at least 3.

second screenshot is a display of a Closed Thread notice... the third screeny shows that there is no Quick Reply as chosen in the criterias...

i will add "Profile Field X equal Y" ... so if you have custom field like gender, you can do something cool, like in "female only forum, if you are a male, you see a notice to take care..." :)

Any chance for notice criteria:

• User belongs or not belogs to usergroups - by default we can choose only 1 usergroup, could you do it so we can select more usergrops
  
  
• User have Additional/Primary usergroup....
  
  
• User has not voted on pool
  
  
• ...

sure they are possible and quite easy to deal with btw... for the poll, not sure, but the usergroups, a multi-selection will do... :)

do not wait anymore, the new version 1.0.1 contains both criterias... :)

Thanks vbenhancer so much. Working fine on 4.1.8 patch level 2 but not working for 4.1.11 Patch Level 1 (don't have new notice in ACP/notice).

Please check it !
