Auto-categorize User in usergroup after register
 

Is this possible?

When an user registers, he has to choose between some categories (American, European, Asian etc.)

When a user chooses 'American', he will be a part of usergroup Americans, so he gets automatically an user rank image 'American'.

So the goal is that every user gets an user ranking with his origins. what is possible?

I haven't used either of these, but there's this mod www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=267585 but it seems to require editing a vb file. There's also this mod: www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=242068 but it looks like it only allows you to change the default. Maybe you can merge the ideas and do what you want. (Or maybe someone will know of another mod).

thank you kh99, but i am not a scripter to write a custom mod, and these mods are not what i'm searching
