modification or bb code which will pull out data from IMDB site, working with articles...

details such as picture of a movie, rating, year, short descriptions and stars

think that bunch of vb sites are abut movies so this would one of top mods as many of us would use it

The problem is IMDB doesn't want anyone doing this so they put methods in to foil any attempt. It is also expressly against their terms of service so coding such a mod wouldn't be ethical.

Well I saw that on few sites just cant find proper mod, about terms of service..well I dont know
Personaly I dont care, but place like this vb.org or some sites in area where this can be legal problem...
Maybe some other site like imdb, is there something good as they are?

For what it is worth IMDB says you need prior permission from them to scrape data from their site. I followed there instructions to request permission for a free vBulletin mod for community use and they haven't responded at all... it's been over 2 weeks now. Doubt they will at this point.
