Is the license number somewhere in the files or template?

the license number is inserted in some locations, sure, but i suppose you want to know if it is safe ?!

your license number is just a license... like your licence plate on your car... people see it, but can't use it because it is related to you, the driver...

if you do not share your customer password, you have no fear to have.

By license number I'll assume you mean you customer number.

Your customer number is not displayed in ay templates or PHP files.

Now if you really do mean license number, as in that number each download of vB automatically generates and has commented in your PHP files... This is available in your PHP files but not in any templates (as far as I know). I really wouldn't worry about your license number as it can not be used at all for anything. I believe it's only purpose is so vB can check for fraud.
