Help! Huge boxes for notifications

Has anyone seen this? What's causing this?

If it helps, it only appears when using the Life Element style, but I've used the skin before and have never seen this issue.

Use something like firebug to view the CSS for it. That looks like a CSS issue which we cannot help with from just an image.

Its because you havent updated your stylevars since deleting orphan stylevars.

Go to stylevars - look for popupmenus - Scroll down the list and you will see a value which has a number but doesnt have px selected. Select PX and it will solve the problem .

Its likely your navigation is also missing a px value too so check for any blank fields on the navbar stylevar page too.

Its literally a two second fix and happens to most boards which go to 4.1.10/11 with an old theme.

I think the popupmenu value you are looking for will be : Popup Menu Row Height , select PX from the drop down box.

And i think the navbar one you are looking for is : Navigation Bar Menu Height

Hey..I'm not really sure where to find that menu. Can you help me a bit? Sorry I didn't install this skin (I recently moved it from an old host to a new one, but I was helped a lot with the forum back then).

click on styles and templats - style manager - click go on the right hand side of your theme - then tick the two little tick boxes above the lists.

You will now see a list of things one being popupmenu, tick that and it will give you all the options , in those options find Popup Menu Row Height , you will notice a dropdown box with px in it , select it and press save .

Then gain on the list you will see navbar , search for Navigation Bar Menu Height , change the little drop down box to px - press save.

Done

I have successfully changed both to px, and successfully saved but I don't see a change with the notifications menu (it's still way too large). Do the values have to be modified as well? I tried this and again, no change.

Never mind! I have figured it out. I made sure all the skins had the px selected (not just the one skin I thought it was) and it seems to be okay now. Thanks a lot for the replies guys.
