With this added in your forum, you can create a link anywhere on the site with the url like "yoursite.com/member.php" and when a member click on it, it will redirect to its own profile *(guests will see the usual error page)

as a note, you need to generate your own link, this plugin is just a turnaround trying to help members willing to see their profile... :) -- i do it myself!

this is the exact same plugin i created 5 years ago for vB 3.6... !

the plugin work simply... if you call no function or have no detail in the url, the script will think you just want to see your own profile and redirect you to it.. :)

Why not have a if condition so quests would not see the link or get the error message?

that's all up to you to create a link and whatever you want with it...

Isn't this already a standard part of vbulletin, if i click my name anywhere i get a choice to see my profile or some other action, if i click my name at the top of the forum i get transported to my profile, if someone else clicks it they get taken to my profile, if they click their own name they....etc

So what does this do different?

Just wondering, is there a way to change the error message guests see?
