How to make a thread act as a partial blog?
 

Ok... I'm sorry for posting in this section, if this post doesn't go here, but as a newbie, I really don't know what to do. :erm:
Anyway, what I wanted was to somehow make the first post in a specific thread have all sorts of abilites, partially like a blog.
For example, I want something like this:

Except that I want to function on the forum. So, in a forum section, people will be able to see thread titles, like normal, and it would function EXACTLY like a normal forum, except when you click on a certain thread, it would appear as the blog (only, I don't want the side panel with author info, etc to appear- I just want the article to be placed in a first post. )

For those who don't understand, I've attached a picture to help you guys better understand.

My question: Is this possible? How hard is to do? Any plugins, etc to help me out? ANY sort of help would be sincerely appreciated! I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but once again: I don't even know what to look for. :(
