Navtabs showing in wrong place..

Hi Everyone!

I just upgraded to the new version of VB on my site at www.actionphotoschool.com/forum/ and am having an issue where my navtabs (new posts, private messages, etc..) are showing down way to far into the page. It basically shows up over the area where it says "APS Forums - Welcome to the APS Forums." It's tough to spot at first cause the text is white, but if you highlight the upper half of the page it jumps out.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Thank you!
Connor

To help you understand what I'm talking about, some of the buttons that are floating too low are:
Forum Actions
Community
FAQ
ETc.

Any help is really appreciated, this is really messing up our forum and I'm all out of ideas!!!

I don't see those button anywhere on your Forums.

Create a new style with no parent:
- Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
- Parent Style: No Parent Style
- Title: Default vBulletin
- Allow User Selection: Yes
- Save
Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

The buttons would only show if you were logged in. And they are white which is the same color as the background so they are tough to see. You'll have to drag a highlight to reveal them, or move the mouse over just the right spots and they turn red.

I'll try creating a new style with no parent and see if that does it.

Thanks,
Connor

I've tried to make the changes you said Lynne, but for some reason can't get the style to show up, it keeps showing my modified one. Here is a screenshot that shows you the menu that's floating in the wrong place. Any idea which code I could modify to fix this??

You'll see the red box I'm talking about in the screenshot, it shows up above the blue title/thread starter bar. Theres a whole menu floating there for some reason and I can't find the code to move it.

Thank you!!!!

You probably need to set it so users can't change styles (vboptions > styles & languages > users can change styles > Yes) and make sure there is a check new to the style in the Style Manager that says users are allowed to pick that style.

It's impossible for us to help you troubleshoot this since we cannot actually see the problem.
