Move Thread Display Options Above Threads?

Is there any way to move the thread display options/filters above the threads instead of below? Its highly ineffective for the display options to be at the bottom of the page when there are many threads. Most users will never take advantage of this feature because they they don't even know that it exists. It makes more sense to me to filter your search from the top... not from the bottom.

This is crucial for my forum as each forum demands that users define a prefix and some prefix sets have upwards of 100+ prefixes. Its a classifieds website... I need my users to be able to fine tune their display options without having to search for the thread display options at the bottom of 20 threads.

Did you try just editing the SHOWTHREAD template and moving the html code to where you want it?

Thank you Lynne... I'm honestly new at this but I'm going to research how to do what you suggested. :)

I cant find it in SHOWTHREAD. I seen it in FORUMDISPLAY but I couldn't get it to work.

Can you help more?

Whoops, sorry, I did mean FORUMDISPLAY. So, tell use the beginning three/four lines and ending three/four lines of the code you moved, and the three lines above where you moved it to so that we can try it also and see what went wrong.
