Change location field to drop down menu
 

It would be useful to have a mod with the ability to set a custom list for the location field. As default, the location field is a text entry box which can not easily be changed to anything else. Unlike other custom profile fields.

Personally, I would like my members to choose a location based on a drop down menu from the pre-determined list. Ideally the list could be updated in the admin cp.

Hopefully simple, yet very useful. Any thoughts on this?

You could just go make a custom profile field with the built in user profile field manager in the Admin CP... Call it "Location" and then delete the default location option from the profile field manager.
