vB Image Lightbox

Is there a way to set this so that users can select if they want it on or off via UserCP?

As at the moment, I'd like it off, as well as a few of my other staff, but I've had quite a few members complain when I turned it off, so if there was a feature that allowed a user to select if they want it on or off that'll be great
