What is the best solution for profeesional news site?

Hi

I want to ask, is vBCMS the best solution for professional site news (flexibility, load issues, security .... etc).

Actually I'm looking for a coder to modify the vBCMS to work as news site, but I don't get the right person yet, but is this my right decision?

And if it is not, what kind of software I have to use? joomla, drupal, wordpress or special program?

The main point for me to give vBCMS try is the integration with forum (we have a forum with 1M users) and want to get the advantage of that, and we plan to use some of the great products to improve the site, like vbtube and photopos and some other products, and in case of using vBCMS we can easily create widgets to get data from these products, and this is not easy in other softwares.

So what is your vision? and what is your recommendations to me?

Thanks in advance.

I would use WP with a bridge to VB.

Wordpress infinitely better than vBulletin for just about all your tasks.

If you just need a forum vBulletin is better, but my advice is to get wordpress powering yournews and everything else, and leave vBulletin (or whatever forum software) to power the community.
