*sticky* articles in the CMS
When viewing a section for example here - http://www.midwiferyonline.co.uk/content/137-financial
Is there a way to order the articles and stick them at the top? I.e I the section which I've linked to, I would like those articles *stickied* so if I post another article it won't show above them but under them? And another thing is on the navigation how can I make it so the subsections are automatically shown expanded so you don't have to click on the little + to be able to view the subsections? Thanks! |
Sure.
click on "pen" (edit-button) of a categorie, you can sort the articles. http://abload.net/images-i63bcwrd5.jpg Only change the number to "1". http://abload.net/images-i62bh8n7j.jpg Regards |
Ok thank you.
What happens if I set more than one article to '1', say if I want to be stickied. And why can't I just order them n the way I want them to appear? I.e 1,2,3....? What are the other numbers for? Thanks! |
Sure u can order them how you like :) Only set the numbers (1= first) and second 2, third 3 and so on.

Thank you!
Do you know how to make the navigation be expanded by default? |
No, sorry. Wait for Lynne, I think she know a solution for this.

Go to Vb CMS (in admin panel) > Widgets > Select your navigation widget > click configure > Where it says 'expand entire sections....'?
Set that number HIGHER than the amount of sections you have listed in your menu :) |
