invalid_subscriptionid on subscription using paypal

We just upgraded our forums to version 4.1.10; this was a long awaited upgrade from version 3.7

But now we get random invalid_subscriptionid in the transaction logs when people are renewing there subscriptions.

I'd say it happens 2 out of 5 attempted transactions and we have to manually enable the member.

Any ideas ?
