Display VSa Chatbox, DBTech vBShout or GCBOS using jQuery
1 Attachment(s)
Description:
The Chat Slider mod will allow you to display either the VSa Chatbox, DBTech vBShout or GCBOS in a slide-down drawer using the jQuery Tools library. The Overlay mod will allow you to display the VSa Chatbox in a jQuery Tools overlay. To use either of these mods assumes you already have the VSa Chatbox, DBTech vBShout or GCBOS installed. Neither mod changes or alters Valters, DragonBytes or Lord Jordan's code in any way at all. UPDATE: In the Chat Slider I have added some styling improvements and incorporated a switch to display either VSa Chatbox, DBTech vBShout or GCBOS. There are no changes to the overlay mod. To Upgrade: Re-Import the product file ReApply the template edit DEMO: You can see a demo of vSA Chatbox (slider & overlay) on my site HERE, though you must be logged in. Code:
USER: fred I must emphasize that only one should be installed at a time, they don't normally play too well together. It will work happily with the jQt Suite but as with all jQuery it may clash with other mods. The Slider mod lends itself perfectly to being used to display other things, (chats boxes, or whatever), but please DO NOT ask me to do it for you. Installation: Full installation details are in the archives, though I will say that it is fairly painless, especially if you have the TMS (Template Modification System) installed. All updates/future releases and support are now only available at jqt-suite.co.uk |

Is there any way to make the chatbox open by default?
I would prefer that it is open all the time and the user has the option to close it if they so choose. Works great... |
