Force Inline Attachments

I'd like every attachment to a post to be inserted inline. We have an image resizer, but it only resizes inline images - attachments which aren't inserted inline show as full size. The simplest solution is inserting every attachment inline so it resizes nicely.

Any mods or hacks which currently do this? I've been looking, and continue looking.
