Risk involved when updating vBulletin?

Hi guys,

I currently have 4.1.9 complete running and I want to upgrade to 4.1.10 as it has a stylevar change I need.

I have a custom template and about 4 plugins.

How do I upgrade safely and what's the chance it will mess everything up?
Will it change all the css edits I have done?

Will my plugins go crazy and not work anymore?
