Similar Threads performance
I maintain a large vBulletin install and have had similar threads disabled for at least 2 years...
We are currently considering looking into enabling it for our users but are obviously concerned about performance. I haven't dug into the code just yet so I had a couple of questions: - Has anyone did any performance analysis around this feature? - I see it's built "on post" which is good, I suppose. Would it show NEWER similar threads over time? - How many new queries are required on thread display? Are they cached? Anything else to be aware of? :) Thanks, Kaitlyn |
