How to show the block New Forum Posts

How to show the block > New Forum Posts

I do not know how to view it.

Did you create a block called New Forum Posts? Did you turn on the forum posts?

There are two steps to adding forum blocks:
vboptions > forum sidebar > set those to what you want
forums & moderators > forum blocks > add the blocks you want

Hi Lynne,

There's something wrong with our Forum blocks. The forum block collapse/expand button doesn't work. Please take a look at http://www.roadtrucker.com/forum/forum.php Any help please? Thanks

They work just fine for me.

edit: Whoops, I thought you were talking about the individual expand/collapse buttons, not the main one.

Create a new style with no parent:
  • Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
  • Parent Style: No Parent Style
  • Title: Default vBulletin
  • Allow User Selection: Yes
  • Save
Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

another edit: Error in firebug:
NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://www.domain.com/clientscript/yuianimation/animation-min.js?v=420

So, you are missing the file.

Thanks, Lynne. Yes I did create another style with no parent and the expand/collapse button worked. So you mean I'll just copy all the settings we have in Default Style to the new style and delete the Default Style completely?

I'm not a programmer/coder so where exactly did you find this:

Error in firebug:
NetworkError: 404 Not Found -

I used firebug (an addon for firefox) to take a look at the page and it gave me that error.
