Posting To Facebook
 

This is driving me nuts so I have to ask, and maybe someone here can help me come up with a solution. I am setting up a website for commercial uses and got both a Facebook and a Twitter account setup for the product. I need a way so that when I, or another staff member of a certain group creates a thread in a certain board it will automatically send a post to the Facebook page with the contents of the post. From there Facebook will send a link to Twitter. I already got Facebook and Twitter synced I just need help with the connecting Facebook to the Forum. I already got connect setup and running without a problem on the forum, but from what I can tell even in v4.1.10 vB STILL lacks staff user specific control settings.. So I was wondering if someone could give me ideas on how to pull this off successfully, whether it's using external sources, a mod, etc. I'd appreciate any possible help.

Good question.. The FB stuff causes major confusion.
The info it wants is so vague, it just a guessing game. lol

I use http://twitterfeed.com/ for this which works with both Twitter & Facebook and although it shares from the rss feed and not specific users, I think you might be able to set the feeds from certain forums and not have to use the global rss feed.
