How to edit statistics
I have a forum, but it is not very active yet (247 threads, 1300+ messages, 800+ members).
I know that people want to post and be active on forums with a lot of threads, messages and members. Is there a way to edit the statistics and for example multiply al the statistics by 10? So that it says I have 2470 threads and 13.000 messages? And that all the subforums are also multiplied by 10? I know that members aren't going to check that if that is true but it gives social proof. Anybody knows how to do this? Or is it a bit illegal? |
Hello,
its not illegal but a little question: Do you think you can hold the users without content? I dont think so. Search the mod-forum with the word "fake". You 'll get some Addons. |
There is new content everday but I think people will become a member faster because they see that the forum is very popular.
Famous social media sites did this to begin, just like datingsite. They create a million "fake" members so the conversion gets higher from visitor to member and to posts. |
