IPB 3.1 to VB4
 

Hi There

Am coming back to vb after having a nightmare with IPB over the last wee while and have a couple of questions.

Our board has 20k members and 2million posts, and obviously I'll be using impex to bring most over - however, how can I import the users along with their passwords so that I dont need to get them to reset etc ?

Also, is there a way to bring over subscription details as we have 1000 members who are paid members ? ie date/recurring/payment etc ? This is a biggie for us !

in the next 3 days i'll have a complete solution for the lost passwords... there are some fixes released here but are not very efficient based on the server processes and codes to modify...

for the subscriptions, i've done the job by hand for my last clients because the systems are way too different to even bother making a import script... one good suggestion would be to have an end for your subscriptions and offer new ones for the old registered ones so they get a rebate.
