Start Thread from an Email?
 

I'm looking for a modification that I'm almost certain I've seen already somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. Perhaps someone can guide me?

Is there a vB4 modification or add-on that will allow the creation of a thread from an email?

Example: an online shopping cart produces an email whenever a purchase is made. I'd like this email to result in the creation of a message THREAD in a particular forum. We'd like multiple people to see it, so that they can take action on it. We'd like them to be able to update each other on the actions taken.

I know that "email-to-thread" isn't the most DIRECT way of achieving what we're after, but it's certainly *versatile*. LOTS of different apps/add-ons/hacks produce emails at various points and for various purposes. An "email-to-thread" hack could be used in many different ways and at many different times.

Am I hallucinating? Does this exist?
